On the other hand, it is more lucrative to be directly involved in the industry's value chain. With EDI, OCI and other often proprietary interfaces, print service providers communicate bidirectionally with the industry. Behind the process advantages, the unit costs for C-items often take a back seat for buyers. The advantage lies in the overall process, especially if the logistics of the supply chain are also taken into account. Once just-in-time and just-in-sequence workflows have been established, the result is strong customer loyalty.
